Outreach
I am dedicated to science outreach, policy, and diplomacy through activities and partnerships, such as through ISC Fellowship and the involvement with the Global Young Academy (GYA), Swiss Young Academy (SYA), European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN), International Younger Chemists Network (IYCN), and other international organizations detailed below, supporting and connecting young scientists globally.
ISC Fellow, contributing to the global voice of science as a public good at the interface of science, policy, and diplomacy.
Member of the Global Young Academy, Co-Leading Science Advice Working Group, participating in science policy developments and building capacity at the international level, actively collaborating with GYA members on various topics.
Member of the Swiss Young Academy, Co-Leading Swiss Young Network for Science Policy and Diplomacy (SYNESPOD), a network of young researchers from a wide range of scientific disciplines creating an inspiring environment for inter- and transdisciplinary exchange and innovative ideas. The members are the representatives of Swiss science and are regarded as the young voice of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences.
Supporting the ChemVoices platform created to showcase early-career scientists worldwide and to discuss issues that are relevant and of immediate concern to their professional development.
Governance Team Member at the International Younger Chemists Network (IYCN), connecting and supporting young chemists globally since 2020.
Networks Team Leader (2019–2021) at the European Young Chemists' Network (EYCN), organizing science outreach activities and partnerships with academic, industrial and governmental bodies to support young chemists in Europe.
Member of the Board and the Delegate of the Swiss Young Chemists Association (youngSCS) at the EYCN and the IYCN (2018–2020), promoting the networking and careers of young chemists in Switzerland.
Committee of the Society for Women in Natural Sciences of ETH Zurich Member (2015, 2017) and President (2016), supporting the community and organising events at ETH Zurich.
Senior assistant at the Petnica Science Center in Valjevo, Serbia (since 2007), involved in organizing seminars, teaching, supervising experiments, and mentoring.
